Well, I can say my family is definately complete..that is until I decide (way down the road) to have skin kids...lol!
Yesterday my co worker who works at the Fire Station sent an e-mail to all of the city employees. It said:
Subj: LOOKING FOR A HOME
Body: For a cute little kitten who is about 4-6 weeks old. She is a brown and black tiger striped beautiful girl. She has such a precious face too! If you're interested in giving her a home please email me back or call me.
Yadda Yadda Yadda! lol WELL I knew that I couldn't, so I call my boyfriend just to tell him about her for the heck of it and added "Well I know we can't get her, but I just wanted to tell you anyways."
If we did get her it would mean getting her spayed, start from scratch on the shots, feeding her formula every so often, and really keeping an eye on her. ALSO, would she even get along or would our current pets get along with her?
So it took me like 2 seconds to ask to get her, but I didn't really have to ask, it was more like, when can we get her? lol
I went to meet my co coworker today at the fire station. The minute I saw her I was in love. Originally I was only going to "look at her" and see how her personality was and etc. My coworker knew that and knew that I wasn't by any means definately taking her. But like I said I looked at her and said "I'm gonna go grab my cat crate." lol My co worker, Ann, asked me "Do you even want to hold her first!?" OH YEAH DUH! lol
So anyways...to make a long story short, I took her, she gave me the formula & a bag of food and thanked me alot, on the way home I picked up a bottle from the store to measure the ounces lol...thingking "I don't want to mess up" and then stopped by the vets to get revolution for all the cats and get her weighed!
She's a scale breaker at a whole 3/4 of a pound!! lol
I'll be taking her into the vets in a couple weeks for her first shots.
So far, I've introduced her to Orion and Caeleigh. Orion doesn't seem to be bothered by her, and Caeleigh hisses, but only if I have the new kitty in the crate. When they're out with each other she's fine. I think they will get use to each other. I'll just keep an eye on it.
I fed the new kitty some formula..about 1/2 of an ounce and then gave her a bath because she smelled, which she seemed to enjoy somewhat(the bath that is), and then dried her off and gave her anouther 1/2 an ounce of formula.
Hopefully the pictures are uploaded on imagestation by now...I'll be posting them in the next post! Thanks
BTW..I'm pretty sure her name is gonna be Chloe!
