Advice on looking after a dog with vomiting/diarrhoea?

Schnaggles was ill yesterday. Must've eaten something that didn't agree with him, I think it was dried liver treats, after cleaning up the carpet ...

Anyway, I kept him quiet, no food and made sure he was drinking water. By the end of the day he had some energy back and had a small bit of chicken last night. No messes this morning, so now his tummy is OK. Is there anything else I should/could be doing for him?

If that's the first time he's thrown up & he seems to keep
water down I would just watch him for the next 24hrs or so
for any chance from normal in the way he's acting. I'm sure
    you'll already do those things.

Hope Schnaggles is feeling better soon.

    Thanks

His stomach is a little more delicate than Buffy's so we have to be careful about the numerous things he vacuums into his mouth

    Upset Stomach Help

Let your dog eat grass. Grass has a natural healing properties for animals. Make sure the grass has NOT been chemically treated. Tall grasses seem to do well. You can also purchase grasses at a Pet store. It is good for them and they should eat some grass regardless of being ill.
