    Oopsie, it happened again!

We are grading another set of projects for my husband's 6th grade class... another project got eaten by one of my cats.

    This time is was ALLEN!

One of the projects was made with macaroni glued onto a poster board. Apparently Allen likes macaroni! He chewed quite a few of them off the poster before I realized what he was into! It was the tri-colored macaroni and he got mostly the orange ones... does that mean he thinks it'll boost the color of his coat???

No, it was one of the several projects that didn't have a name on it! We have about ten nameless projects, so we can't begin to figure out which kid did what project. Oh well. Allen certainly thought it was a great project.

I'm not teaching now, but when I am, the cats are lots of help with grading papers and projects. I can't recall any of our kitties ever eating a project before. Sitting on and wrinkling, yes! Very funny, Allen!

Oh Allen, you are such a character. Is what mommy said true, where you trying to enhance your coat color by eating only the orange ones?
Gotta love you Allen, you are one sweet kitty for sure. Nawtee, but sweet.

There's a new one that has probably not been heard from teacher to student before. I am sorry I can't give you a grade because my cat ate YOUR homework.

I can just see it now.

Allen must have been tired of Pouncer having all the fun and getting into all the trouble!

When your husband figures out which kid's project it was, he'll just have to tell him that he certainly is a genius, and that he created a brilliant and popular new cat toy/treat. Without further explanation. And then give him an A.

LOL! Unfortunately, the project was to create a new flag design for the US flag - not a cat toy!

PS: the kid took the same flag deisgn we have today and changed it by using macaroni instead of linen! The stripes were orange and yellow pasta, the blue feild was purple star shaped noodles! Its funny that there is row upon row of orange pasta missing!

Well, YEAH, but some of the greatest inventions in history were invented by people who were trying for something else entirely! *nods*

Sounds like Allen knows what he likes!! I'm getting a kick out of the mental image of that poor "flag" missing half its stripes.
