    My Orangie Girl....

I don't think I have ever posted a thread about my little Stubby. I know I have mentioned her and there have been some pics but I think she deserves a thread of her own. She does take a back seat to her (blood) brother Peanut Butter!
Stubby is all hair! She weighs about 5 lbs and has short little legs, thus her name. If you put you thumb and middle finger together then you have the size of her tiny little neck. She has always been very independant and not real lovey. She is a little spitfire, fierce huntress, and can handle herself EXTREMELY well with all the other much bigger kitties! Now that she is three she seems to be settling down some and wants more attention. It has to be on her terms but when it is the purrs are so loud that her whole body shakes! It's like a mini earthquake in a ball of hair! Anyway...here's my girl!

She's pushing against my leg to keep Leroy from pushing her off!

This a very RARE photo of Peanut Butter and Stubby together. I can never get them to stay in one spot together!
btw-Peanut Butter's third ear is Leroy sitting behind him.

Well, that's my itty bitty girl.

oh YES!! The word "orange" caught my eye and such a pleasure to meet Stubby. She has such a sweet face - does not match the description of her temperament She does look very much like a mini-Peanut Butter do ya think? Thank you for posting about her. I especially like the 2nd pic - the profile of her

a 5 pound orangie? I thought there was a law that all orangie were to be in the double digits!

What a sweet little princess (all the better that she has catitude!) I just love her pale celery colored eyes!

Stubby is absolutely gorgeous and reminds me of my RB Goldie. Same color fur and eyes, although Goldie was 10 lbs. most of her life and had a princess complex. Thank you for explaining the "third ear." Beautiful pics, we need to see more of Stubby!

If I can get the little lady to hold still long enough I will post more pics of her sometime.
I haven't been hiding her I just have trouble getting her off of the roof and the top of the chimney! She likes to go up there every evening and wait for the chimney swallows to come and roost. They are bigger than her but she perches right up on the edge of the chimney and waits!! All you can see is a tiny orange blur swatting at the birds! It's cold now so she is inside most of the time. She used to go out and never want back in. We would find her laying in a chair on the deck letting the snow pile up on her!! We have a covered front porch but she is a little stinker. She seems to enjoy inside much more now and prefers to be warm. She's getting older and boy am I glad!
Yes, Sirrahbed she is a junior Peanut Butter. From a distance we have trouble telling them apart! My husband gets them confused at least once a day!!

OMG this picture is so sweet and yet so funny with that 3rd ear Absolutely stunning!!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
