    Grooming Competition Pictures(47)...

This weekend there was a grooming competition held in my city.
My boss and another co-worker competed. I thought I'd share some pictures from the show.

These were taken in the small non sporting class.

Here are some before pictures of Rocket, the bichon that my boss groomed (and won first with).

    The finished result!

This is Dior, a mini poodle that one of my co-workers groomed. (I didn't get any before pics). My co-worker got a 2nd with her.

This bichon is one we supplied for another groomer from Winnipeg. His name is Polar.

A toy poodle in a continental clip. They got a 3rd place.

Some various mini poodles. Dior is in the middle.

These pics are from the large non sporting class.

This is my co-worker with Kootenay (my absolute most favorite poodle in the world!!! I love that girl) before the grooming started.

This is Kootenay's after shot. My co-worker won first place with her.

This is Sable, the standard poodle my boss groomed (and won second place with). Here are her before pics.

    The finished product.

Now we will move onto the mixed miscellaneous class.
    (18 Pics)
This class is for mixed breed dogs, or purebred dogs in different cuts. I have a lot of pics from this class as I was at the show the whole day (instead of getting dogs ready at the shop).

Of course we will start with Buddy

    Here are his before pics.

Here are some shots of Buddy while he was being groomed.

The final results. Unfortunately my co-worker didn't even place with Buddy

This is Billy, the Old English Sheepdog my boss groomed. She got a first place. Before:

    While he was being groomed.

    After:

Here is a mini poodle in a Beddlington cut. I personally think it's an ugly cut and a sad thing to do to a poodle, but hey, to each their own. Incidentally this is a son of Buddy's.

Here is a little bichon/shih tzu type cross.

These are from the sporting group.

    A really cute cocker:

This is Spy, the springer spaniel my boss got a second with.

Here are a few pics of part of the Best In Show line up:

    That's all. Hope you enjoyed.

    Great pictures...

This old song from high school came to mind when I saw this picture...I bet you don't know the song, but the lyrics go like this:

"I rock ruff and stuff with my afro puff....hey!"

Lot of nice pictures, really enjoyed looking through them. My favorite I think is the springer spaniel. What a handsome pup!

I always liked the simple puppy cut on poodles best. I've never seen a bedlington cut like that. Looks odd on a poodle. That cocker has a beautiful chocolate coloring and the Old English Sheepdog looks pretty impressively groomed!

nvm I see them then now personaly for some of the dogs I liked the before much better. I liked the OES cut, the bedlington cut looks horride on the poodle though personaly i hate the clipped look on dogs, i like ther hair clipped and neat, but not "looking" like it was cut, know what i mean?
