We redecorated my room *pictures*

I still haven't got all of my furniture ( I got a new bed, new computer desk, and soon we're getting a fish tank cabinet & dog bed. Hopefully a new dresser too.)
And we haven't done my closet yet. I hope to take my cieling fan & light down, putting up some sort of other lights.

So it's not completely finished, but I LOVE IT. I mean I abosolutely LOVE it. I can't get over it. It's so comfortable with the dark colors, and it's so dark now at night.

I have to do laundry, so don't mind the clothes on the floor.
These pictures don't even do the color justice. It looks much darker in real life, but I guess the flash makes it look brighter.

New computer desk, complete with one of Amy's drawings of Simba Hopefully i'll be getting a nice black leather computer chair as well.

Two new posters I got... They'll be going on the walls as soon as I get all of my furniture and where I want it.

More posters.. I also have a bunch of small pictures i'm going to collage in one of those big frames.

Closet... That blue/clear storage bin is full of simba/Nala clothes. Which again, this will be much better when we get my furniture.

Kay, it's awesome!! It totally fits you perfectly. It's great when a room reflects your interests and personality. Hence, the reason my is covered in wolves and huskies.

I like how you've framed all of the pics! I think it looks so much nicer that way. My U2 poster is framed...I have two big wolf posters I want to hang up, but I need frames (and space!) first. I need a bigger room!

Redecorating is so much fun, isn't it!! I just finished setting up our new place and I love it. One thing I would like to do but can't is paint the walls. Well, I can, but the apartment has these really high ceilings and the rooms are huge. Plus, I would have to go back and repaint them in 3 years when we get ready to leave Germany. But I have many things on the wall to make up for the whitness

Your room is looking great, KayAnn. I am sure it is going to look awesome once it is all done. It's be your little sanctuary away from everyone and everything. That is how my room was when I was growing up!

I love that color purple! What made you choose tile? It's a nice pattern, but just curious about the floor treatment.

I think it's very interesting to learn about a person and their likes and dislikes with regard to decorating style. I'm SERIOUSLY decorator impaired. Have to have my friend Cindy come to my house and help me. She's talented and crafty.
