    Friend is leaving for Iraq tomorrow, needs to rehome his dog...URGENT!

    My friend is in the military. So far, he was been able to bring Bullet everywhere. But he's leaving to Iraq tomorrow. He had Bullet's home all squared away. At the last minute, the chick said that Bullet tried to attack her cats, so she won't take him.

    I went and met Bullet today. He is so beautiful! He's a spotted dark grey pit bull. Clipped ears, totally buffed. The friend says Bullet would never hurt a cat. The caretaker says she wasn't sure, but it was enough to scare her. Bullet had the most beautiful personality. OMG! He was so sweet! She takes him running everyday and he doesn't even flinch for the other dogs.

    My friend is so upset and worried for Bullet. He's sick over it. Can you please help me foster/rehome him?!!! Please!?

    I can't keep an "agressive looking" dog at my house because my neighbor is a #$#$&@*, otherwise, I'd take him in a heartbeat. Kendall (my friend) is so sick over Bullet's outcome and that is the last thing he needs to worry about before going to fight for our country.

    If all else fails, I'll take him, but he really shouldn't be here. Can someone help me!!!!!!!

    *edit* He's now at my house...Great with kids and dogs...HORRIBLE WITH CATS!!!

    The H*** with your "neighbor"!

    TAKE the poor Dog in till you can arrange a *better* solution.

    A) TELL the stupid neighbor it's AN EMERGENCY;
    and
    B) You'll find Fido another, more permanent, Foster Home.

    And assure your Soldier Friend that he doesn't have to *worry* about
    Fido - that you WILL find him a Loving Foster Home.

    If it wasn't for the fact that he's lousy with cats, I'd say he is perfect. He doesn't dig or bark. He's calm and obedient. Loves kids and all dogs. I added the pic to the above post. He's beautiful. All shots, papers, is neutered.

    Thank you! I just checked that out...You need all the military info. I tried to contact Kendall (Bullet's daddy) but he's not answering. He's probably running around trying to get ready to leave tomorrow.

    My friend David (same one that just took the pit and chi mix) said he'd take him if I don't find a home. I think David is going to foster him for me since he doesn't have any cats.

    We just had a pretty scary incident right now. There's no way in **** that Bullet can be in a house with cats. He gets superhuman strength when he sees a cat.

    I hear you! I couldn't bare the thought that my friend was going off to fight for our country, and no one was giving a sh!! about his dog. I took Bullet home tonight. He's a total sweetheart. Very well behaved, except he has no control when he sees cats. I'll figure something out. Mike and I actually decided within 10 minutes of me bringing him home that we'd keep him. Then I introduced him to the cats... Threw that whole idea out the window!

    I'm going to be selfish and bump this over and over again! I love this dog so much and I can't keep him! I just know there's a special home for him in PT.
