    What did you make?

Everyone here made a Thanksgiving dish or brought one to be served. Did anyone's family do the same?

I made green bean casserole. YUM YUM! I'm eating some leftovers now hehe.

I didn't make anything, but we had turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn and rolls. I love the rolls. They are the best part of Thanksgiving.

I had to work, so I didn't make anything this year. We went to my mom's for dinner and there really isn't anything that I needed to bring. My mom goes all out!!! She had 3 different kinds of meat. She had turkey, ham and fried chicken legs. Tons of side dishes and desserts. She is a maniac in the kitchen!!! She is the best!!!!

My sister did miss my macaroni and cheese though!

I made the turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, veggies and stuffing.

My mom made the rolls, pies, and deviled eggs.

My dad made an apple pie.

My friend Sharon made a cake.

My brother just came, ate and left and didn't help at all ... as usual.

My mom made the turkey that I donated b/c we get a free one every year from work. Both of my uncles don't like turkey so we also had ham too.
And I made the green bean casserole!

I made a green bean casserole too! I could live off of that! We went to my parents. My grandma is Phillipino, so we had lots of Phillipino food. The only thing I remember the name of is Lumpia. lol.

They like it spelled better Pilipino but oh well. I think Phillipino looks right.

this was my first holiday after having the gastric bypass surgery in september. i was a little nervous. i had 2 friends over, they made the sweet potatoes, corn and rolls. i made the turkey breast, dressing, mashed potatos, green beans almondine, and a new cranberry relish recipe, and chocolate pudding. i discovered i can still cook , still cook for a crowd , and manage to do okay with all that food in front of me. they did take home alot of leftovers tho'

Believe it or not, I made everything!!!
My husband and I decided to stay home and have thanksgiving with just the six of us, and I made turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and rolls!! I was so proud of myself!!!

The farthest I usually get in the kitchen is making pop-tarts!!!!!

We had dinner with Mark's family yesterday, and I brought a strawberry cheese pie.

And today, we are having dinner with my brother's family, and I'm in the middle of making homemade rolls, and I still have to figure out what kind of pie to make. Lemon Meringue maybe.
