Pictures of my cozy home...

Well, as most of you know, we're remodeling. I just thought I'd share a few pictures of how lovely and cozy my home is right now.

As you can kinda sorta see, we're doing everything in a tan color. We're redoing our kitchen cabinets, baseboards, doors, and window sills in a white to offset the tan.

This thing rocks. Some people make fun of it because it is straight out of the 60's, but I love it! Mike had suggested doing a fish tank or fountain in it's place, but I won't ever get rid of it.

Tonya, just keep telling yourself "it's going to look great when it's finished." You can tell already!

I love that "thing" too!! I didn't think it was from the 60s so much as it looked very Morrocan, which is very chic these days. Your friends are obviously SO out of the loop.

I never thought of that! Next time people make fun of it I'll say "Oh, you are so uncultured. I had that exported from Morocco."

Well, it looks like it's going to be really nice. It would be difficult to live like that but I'm sure it will be worth it.

I can relate to your remodelling ......... my darling hubbie ripped up the carpets in our house to see WHAT is underneath .......

. So far, still ripped up ....

We "remodelled" the backyard .............. does that count? Hubbie has a mini-digger and proceeded to practice in our backyard .... mud everywhere, no grass, huge piles of dirt under the washing line, looked like a construction site ............ and then I lost my temper.

Now looking BEAUTIFUL ............ but still no grass!

I don't know I'll do if we start the house ............. Thank doG, the mini digger won't get in the door!!!!!

Of course I don't mind the pics! It gives me inspiration. Lol. I like the walkway! That's our next project. It's dirt between the dog run and back door, so the dogs track mud into the house.

Great pics - and it will all be worth it when it's over!!!

I am starting to decorate in January, so I post my "decorating" pics then - it isnt going to be easy painting my walls - the walls are 12ft high, so I will probably need to hire scaffolding!
