I thought this was a beautiful passage

I turned my calendar today to December. My calendar for this year was called "Animal Angels" and each page featured a beautiful closeup portrait of a dog along with a quote, and then in the margin of the calendar portion, each month had different reflections regarding the unique relationship between dogs and humans.

This month, it was reflecting on animals and whether their souls ascend to an afterlife, and what various people believe as far as an afterlife for animals. It ended with this passage, which I thought was truly beautiful.

But the best proof of all are the animals themselves. They are intelligent, emotional, moral and spiritual beings. They have a unique and undeniable ability to love--the love we see in their deeds and in their eyes is a reflection of heaven.
