    Homemade cage

Has anyone made their pets a special home? I'm in the middle of making my rats' cage. I can't wait until it's finished! It's going to be great. I still need to go out and buy some water-based polyurethane paint sealer and some wire. And I need some ladders and ropes.

How about you? Have you ever made your pets a house or a hide-out or anything like that?

I made Julian's wooden house. 2 Houses for the rats. I assembled the rats cage (still have scars) and I'm soon going to be buinding the buns and NIC cage.

When I had my rabbit we built a HUGE cage for her. It was AWESOME I have some photos of it somewhere, but I'd have to hunt them down and then scan them... I'm much too tired for that right now

So far I've only bought the wood. It cost $55.00 . Wood is expensive lol. I bought the second cheapest kind which is plywood. I still have to buy the paint sealer and the wire...I hope it doesn't cost much!

Oooh and by the way, next I'm going to build a dog sled! Lol, it will be awesome.

Yep. I have made my ratties a cage. It is 4 feet long and 2 feet wide, and 2 feet high. It is mainly for them to play in the grass during the summer months. I don't have the picture loaded on to the laptop, other wise I would post a picture of it- I have posted the pictures before.

As soon as I get the money, I plan building a HUGE cage, as huge as my room will allow me to make it. I think it would be a good summer project for me and my friend to work on.
