I was less than a year old in these. The dog was my Aunt's GSD named Lady. Of course I don't remember her, but I these are the first pics of me with an animal.

What precious photos! We can all thank your aunt then because you make such a wonderful mommy to your kids.

Nicole, I was a cute baby. Shame I had to grow up (and out).
My Auntie LOVED dogs and my mother (they were extremely close sisters) was terrified of them. My mom screamed when I first touched Lady on the muzzle!
Auntie later got a collie and named her Lassie, of course.
The girl holding me in the first two pics is my cousin who lives in Austin. She has 4 dogs and two cats.
Do you have any pictures of Lassie?

I'll look, but I don't think I do. I'm sure my cousin does, but none of hers are scanned.Originally posted by primabella

Lassie was a wonderful dog. Any tine we were at their house, she watched over me. She always stayed with me for the entire visit.
After Lady & Lassie passed to the RB they got Mitzie Sue. She was a terrier of some sort and that's when the terrier love started for me. Mitzie Sue was CRAZY and fun and everything a young girl could want in a dog. I still miss little Mitzie Sue.
Sounds like a real "Lassie" thing to do.Lassie was a wonderful dog. Any tine we were at their house, she watched over me. She always stayed with me for the entire visit.
You're aunt sounds like she had some wonderful pets.

Godspeed Phred and Gini you will be missed more than you ever know..
You were so cute!!
I wish more people would do this with their babies and young kids. Too many people have irrational fears of animals because they were never properly exposed to them.
OMG!!! Those are too sweet!!! How lucky you are to have those pics!!
