Does your cat like to walk on the keyboard?

    ...
because Honey is always trying to walk on the keyboard. She will be sitting in my lap (all innocent) and then she will *all so timidly* walk up onto the keyboard. One time she did this, and it made like 3 copies of my posts. Gotta love her!

    How about your cats?

Marigold loves to lay ON the keyboard! She also likes to sit in front of the screen so I can't see. Silly kitties!

    Livvy -- no.

Cassy -- frequently. But more often he is in my arms and I try to type around him. (Note: not ALL of my spelling errors are due to me, some are caused by Cass!)

My cats don't walk on the keyboard. Jackson pays no attention to the computer, the others either sit in your lap or walk on the shelf/desk just in front of the keyboard.
    Scott is owned by 5 cats: Jackson, Fluffy, Twidgit, Ashton, Lexi;
and 3 dogs: Eli, Sassee, Ginger

    ALWAYS!!!!!!!!

ALL of my cats - fosters included - have an obsession with my keyboard. Oh how they love to mess up my posts, emails, or whatever I'm writing. Frequently I'll wake up in the morning and find a bunch of weird stuff on my computer from them pouncing on and laying on the keys. One time Shiloh even managed to send someone an ICQ message.

Some of the people here who I chat with in AIM will tell you my cats can often be found typing in the chats

Whenever mine visit me at the computer they will walk on the keyboard. Bob will lay on it sometimes. Joey sat on it the other day when she was playing with the mouse cursor.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

The funniest is when they turn the computer OFF or when Aly goes out to grab some dinner, and I keep getting messages like eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee4444444444444jjkjj while I know she's not home

    YES!!!!

All three of them - not all at the same time - thank goodness!!

This I've decided is the problem with a lap top - when they want my lap and there's a 'funny' thing on it - they sit on the 'funny' thing!! Dan's the worst culprit - he insists on curling up on the WHOLE BOARD - I can't do a thing or see the screen - so I HAVE to cuddle him - crafty fella eh?!
Ketchum normally clomps across it to get from one side of me to the other - leaving Meowmie lovely messages!! Bit like Slick gets!!

    Never!

Both my kitties are in awe of their Daddy and stay away from his computer as a result. As for my laptop keyboard, they now jump over it as they know what happens when they tread on Meowmie's keyboard!

Mum to two little humans, a very vocal 14 year old Ragdoll, and a super energetic and snuggly rescue kitten.

I'd have to vote "Never" but thats only because I had to invest in a keyboard tray (you know it screws to the underside of the desk and slides and and out when you need it)

Allen was ALWAYS dancing on my keyboard tray and more than once pushed one of the F keys that seriously screws up whatever it was that I was doing. Late at night you might hear atrange, insistent beeping moises... you turn on the light to find Allen drapped across the keyboard and hitting several keys!

So, No, but Allen doesn't get the opportunity anymore!

  15. How else would they get to the other side? Oddly, they rarely put enough pressure to the keys...and it is not becasue they are so light!
