    Peanut has been remodeling

If you all remember, Peanut has had a house for quite some time now. She recently decided to do some remodeling.

First of all, here's a "before" pic so you can remember the houses humble beginnings as a box.

Then here she is, checking out the progress as the place was literally turned upside down as the remodeling was taking place. At this point, the "brickies" were hard at work before she came for inspection.

Here she's inspecting the final touch - the landscaping. Ooohhh, look at all the pretty flowers!

And here she is, enjoying her new home as she relaxes on the front porch.

She hopes you like her "new" house.

Peanut, what a pretty house. You look so cute curled up in front of the door. I would love to see a picture of the shingles on your roof. Please may I come visit.

Here's her roof. The line down the middle is where the shingles start going down the other side. It was tough to make it look right because it's just a flat roof, not peaked like normal houses. I think I should put some sort of "cap" over the line like a regular house would have to finish it off, but I'll have to work on finding something that looks right.

Oh, and I wanted a tile roof like they have all over Europe, but her daddy wanted a cedar shake roof, and since she's such a daddy's girl......

OMG I'm almost left speechless.....but let's see what I come up with?

Peanut, I can't believe you did that all by yourself. I adore what you've done to the outside and those flowerbeds add such a feeling of "home". The shingles are placed at just the right angle. You must be very proud of yourself!!!! I do hope that you let Tubby help out a little bit because those cedar shakes must have been very heavy. I think I'll place a call to Better Homes and Gardens and suggest they feature you in their magazine.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

What a great looking house you have there Peanut. I think that I would like to come over and visit also.

That is a great idea. If I do that they I don't have a bunch of boxes all over the house, I have a little cat village.

You did a great job on making is look like a house.

    WOW! What a clever girl!

When Cassy remodels one of his boxes, he just claws/chews holes in it, sigh.

HOW COOL!!! I love your house Peanut!! What a cute idea! I like Catdad's idea about a whole village! That took a lot of work Peanut and it is very impressive! I adore your front porch and flower garden and to top it off that fantastic roof!!! What a lucky girl you are!

    Too cute!

Peanut what a pretty house you have! Now to keep it all nice and clean you will definitely need a welcome mat that says "Wipe Your Paws Please."

Now that's a house fit for a queen, Queen Peanut that is. What a great looking house. Hopefully Tubby won't get jealous or you may need to make him a castle.

Make it an Arizona house, most of the houses here have flat roofs since it hardly rains and it's more economical to have a flat roof.

Peanut you have done such a great job on your house!

Thanks for the great signature Kay!
