Samantha loves catnip!

I forgot I had these photos of Samantha enjoying some fresh catnip.
I took them about a month ago.

She would eat a couple of fresh leaves and then be all over the camera because my hands smelled like catnip too.

Notice the glazed look in her eyes and the airplane ears.

Every time I see her I think of a stuffed animal!! She is just too cute to be real!! Even when she is NIP HAPPY!!! I think its that little black nose in the mostly white face that has done me in!! She just looks like a snuggle bug!!

Its funny , but some of the Found Cats love Cat Nip , and some dont. as a rule , the Siamese Squad is quite indifferent , while JJJ3 , Moose , Nugget and Princess acnt get enough of the Stuff!Samantha is so Happy in thePhotos , althougn a litle Buzzed!

Our guys can take it or leave it. I bought a bottle of the catnip spray and spritz some of the toys once in a while and they go bonkers. Just out of curiosity does anyone else have the following problem: I am actually allergic to catnipt. If I buy them fresh toys at a craft show or something my husband has to carry them and I have to have the seller put them straight into a bag. If I touch them and then make the mistake of touching my face...OH BOY!!! I get completely stuffy and my eyes water and it is just not pretty....

Couldn't agree more!

Tubby was so jealous when I showed him the pics last night. He loves fresh catnip too! It's funny though, you said she'd eat a few leaves.... Tubby eats them too, but Peanut only licks them and rolls in them, then leaves the broken, limp carcasses for me to clean up.

Kim, Samantha's eyes are mostly two shades of gold with some darker spots in them.
I have asked the vet about the spots but he said they were just pigment changes and that it didn't affect her vision.
It just means that my kitty is getting older since the spots have appeared gradually over the last few years.
Also she does hate the camera flash so she does squint a lot in the photos I take of her indoors.

T&P's Mom, Samantha loves to eat the fresh catnip leaves so much that if you try to handfeed her one you just might risk losing a finger!
That is why you don't see any leaves in the photos.
She would eat them so fast that they were gone by the time I took the photos.

Samantha- the kitty with her heart on her sleeve is always beautiful in her photos ! She looks funny with that stoned look ! LOL!
I can't get Sunny to even pay attention to catnip ! Loverboy likes it so much he goes out to my garden and wallows in it !
