Snow?

Right now, it is SNOWING

We had a lot of rain last night, so the ground is wet and it won't stick - but for this brief moment in time it is ablsolutely gorgeous!

(we don't get much snow here so this is a big deal)

Yep, it's snowing in east Portland now. Big flakes, straight down. VERY unsual for this time of year.

You know when you grease a cake pan, then add a little flour and shake it around the pan? THAT's how the snow looks in the streets.

Just becasue it was mentioned. I am from Minnesota also. Born in Minneapolis.

Anyway, I woke up this morning and we had snow!!

Took me completely by suprise. I went to bed last night thinking that we were just going to get rain. It has already stopped but it stuck to the ground and we have slush in the streets.

It is unusual for this time of year, so I will enjoy it while it is here.

Too cold to snow today! it's -30C right now, expect high of -22C. Fortunately there's no wind. We have quite a bit of snow, but I need another six inches or so to run the dog sled. I hope it hurries up!

Nope. Right now it’s sunny, not a cloud in the sky & 70 (F).

Way too warm to be snowing here. An hour ago it was 68, now it seems to have dropped 10 or so degrees. We are due to be in the upper 50s and 60s for the next two weeks though (which SUCKS!!), so I doubt we'll have snow anytime soon.
