Hello,
Hi, I own two labs. Does anybody know of lab rescues on the internet? I am looking for another one. Please Help!!

Retrieverbabe: I have and LOVE LABS too!! I found a great site for lab rescue; a truly remarkable organization. They rescue and fund medical care for abandoned, abused, etc. labs all over the country. They have a lab "store" with lots of labbie goodies, like clothes, books, stationary, etc. Use your search engine and type in "Labmed" in the search inquiry thingy. Be prepared for some heartbreakers!!! Lots of success stories though!! Let me know if you found it!

Click on Lab Links to get to their link page; scroll down about half a page and click the Lab Rescue page.

And you can try a generic search engine - try almost anything that comes to mind (rescue, shelter, lost) +Dog or Lab and you'll get more hits than you can visit. Most every state and large US city have a Lab rescue or owner's club that will jump for joy to help you find another FurKid.

www.petshelter.net is a good site to check out as well. You can either check the "shelters" to find shelters and the dogs they have available in your State, or check the "dogs" area and narrow down your search that way. Good luck on your search.

I agree with everyone else- go to you favorite search engine and put in labrador retreiver rescue and you will have an abundance of them you can even put in you state and try that too. Good Luck!!

Guess I should have added this for RB419. I also have 2 labs, a 9.5 year old chocolate, and an (almost)4 year old black one. They are both females, and of course they are wonderful!

Yes, Phred...LabMed! They are terffic. You could spend hours reading their great rescue tales! MISS YOU Phred! Miss you Cinder and Smoke and Kat! We all hope your Mom is feeling better; I think of her and you guys every day. Hugs to the dynamic duo! Their photos are just great! What a pair!
