Today is Binx's first birthday! Seems like forever ago he first came into my home, changing my lifestyle so significantly, but, alas, it has only been 7 months.
We are so happy together, and I believe Binx is a happy puppy dog. Medically, we are at a standstill, right now, but, I wanted you all to know that on Sunday, Nov. 23, we are doing a mass email to about 150 people throughout the country. These people are heads/directors of periodontal programs, or pathology programs, or dental vets. I am doing it on that day, in particular, as I will be gone up until then, and I don't want a single reply to come in and not get immediately answered. I am, as they say, placing all my eggs in this basket, praying, praying, praying, that someone knows the 'cure' for Binx's condition.
Else wise, Binx is topping the scales at 105, has a beautiful coat, and even better disposition. He knows various 'commands', largely leaves the herd alone, eats 8-9 cups a day, LOVES greenbeans...he he, and will be celebrating his birthday with my sister's three dogs. I am baking cupcakes today. Binx is also beginning his 'vacation', with my sister for the next 8 days. This will be the first time I have left him. It will be sad without him at night, but, I know he will thoroughly enjoy his time.
I know, pictures would have been nice, but, alas, no time. I might be able to get some tonight, when he is devouring his cupcake!
