Have you sent/recieved your gift swap package yet?

I was just wondering if anyone still hasn't sent out their package or recieved it.
I have sent mine out, but I have not recieved one. When is the next gift swap going to be?

I do know of a person who has not received one yet, but I am sworn to secrecy (this person doesn't want to make a big deal out of it). But I think it is awful if you do not fulfill your end of the "bargain)

I agree. This is the very reason I have not participated. I'm afraid I would get mine sent out late and that's not fair to the others involved. But to not send it at all, that's extremely rude.

I agree also. I hope I recieve mine, and if I don't, maybe I can try next time. I won't be sad if I give someone a gift, I would just feel really bad if I didn't send mine.

Im one of those people who havent sent theirs out yet.. I have everything bought, but my mom needs to take it to the post office.. But i have already talked to my swapper and she said she had understood, and although i feel so bad i havent sent it out, im not one of those people who 'dont hold their end of the bargain'..

I didn't participate in this swap, so I know what I say doesn't matter..

But honestly, please don't sign up for these things (gift swaps, christmas lists, etc.) if you're not absolutely, completely, 100% positive you CAN send the item and at a reasonable date. It's not fair to everyone else.

If this was directed towards me..
When i started the gift swap i said their was no date to have them sent out, some people are busy and will get around to sending it out, but dont have the time.. im one of those people who dont have the time.. My parents both work all day long, So i can not get to the post office.. On weekends they go to see my grandma who is in a nursing home, So i really dont have time.. I will send mine out, again im not one of those people who dont hold their end of the bargain, So please dont assume everyone can get theirs sent out right away..

Not trying to offend, but I have to say it. I have a job, I go to college, and I have many many things going on in my life also. If you can find time to post at Pet Talk, you can find time to go to the post office.

Tho I didn't participate in the swaps, I feel this way over the Christmas list.
