    Handsome huskies

These two are littermates. I own their sire too--or he owns me, whichever way you want to look at it. They are four and a half years old, both great dogs. Hoodoo was our very first rescued dog--way back when 3 seemed like too many!

    This is Hoodoo.

    And this is Earle.

and one more of Earle-pretending he's a wolf, sleeping in the trees.

Prince's trainer have a lot of huskies, all of them are just gorgeous!
Do you go sledding with them? They must love it! Prince is going to sledding classes this winter, it is going to be so much fun! I get to go sledding with all of those huskies!

yes, I sled with them and skijor. My mals do weightpulling as well..although not particularly well yet! We don't have enough snow yet to sled, although I expect I'll be able to skijor in the next couple weeks. Right now we are training on the ATV. They do love it. The noise is deafening when they see their harnesses.

I know what you mean by when its deafening.
The huskies just saw their harnesses, and they starting screaming, not barking.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I have always been a husky fan! Love those fur balls. I have wanted to ski-jor for a couple years now but unfortunatly my hisky mix is too old, my rott has bad legs & my other husky went with his dad when we split up. I just can't afford another at the moment but when I can I will be out there in the snow skiing w/ my husky! I bet it is a blast.
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.
