Does she think it will hatch?

Peanut loves the little balls that Jenny (Pay it Forward) sent, but she's got this habit that I'm kinda confused about. Normally the ball is on the floor in the bedroom. Peanut will walk in, walk up to the ball - and sit on it! She's so weird. Does she think it's going to hatch? Here are a few pictures where she sat on it so we could still see it. Sometimes she sits on it so you can't even see it.

And not to be left out of the little photo session, here's Tubby.

And here's a little video of her sitting on it. I tried to take a pic and didn't know the camera was on the video setting, and haven't been able to figure out how to capture one frame from the video as a picture.

So here she is....what do they call that when hens sit on a nest....is it brooding?

That's funny. My Chipper will sit on his ball also, but with his butt and then will flop down and attack it with his back feet.

Your cats are so gorgeous. Great pictures.

AWWWWW that's so cute, but Debbie, I could not open that movie file. Can you email it to me please at [email protected]. Thanks.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

I brought home a couple of tinsel balls today and Hagrid ended up sitting on one--except that he didn't realize it. He was looking all around trying to figure out where the ball went.

Peanut may be waiting for it to hatch, but it looks like Tubby is wondering what she is doing.

Those are cute pics. My babies haven't tried to sit on any of there toys, that I know of. I should talk to them about that.

This is what my cats do too. Whatever Peanut is trying to do, she sure looks cute doing it.

Did I say that Pichu looks like Peanut? THIS is his facial expression and he looks like he's Aristotel or some other great thinkers And, btw, he also like to sit on his balls (ahem... toy balls) or toy mice.

Tigris loves to sit on the ball too. I always thought it was a method to show: This is my ball and although I'm to lazy to play right now, my brother won't get it

That is too funny. I'll bet you wouldn't have a hard time getting her to sit on some colored eggs for a nice Easter picture!

    Thanks for the siggy, Lexi_Lover!
