Do your cats like hard boiled eggs???

I was making an egg salad sandwich this morning and MooShoo was in my face!! I put a little in a dish (it was before I put the mayo in it) and gave it to him. He LOVED it!

Do your cats like them?? This is definitely a first for him.

oh yes, my two love eggs, fried, scrambled, hard-boiled, whatever form it may come it! They especially love it when it has butter on it!! I've frequently heard of most cats loving eggs.

    hardboiled eggs

Oh yes sunny and loverboy loves them ! Infact i fed them to sunny when he was a baby , because his mother couldnt seem to give them enough milk . All the kittens did well with the additional food (eggs and kitten food ) and mothers milk .

I tried giving Fister some egg yolk, but he didn't care for that. Perhaps I should try hardboiled.

Butter flips for any kind of dairy product, eggs, cheese, milk........it is as if he just "knows" and comes running!!

Cubby hates eggs, hardboiled, scrambled, over easy. He stays away from them. But he will eat french toast and pancakes, no syrup on them though. I hate syrup on my food and so does he (which he shouldn't have sugar anyways.) He will eat almost anything except eggs.

Luna isn't. But she's not interested in "human" food at all. While Lily eats EVERYTHING!!! Not only eggs, literally everything!

Are eggs good for cats? Is it OK for them to have them? If so I think I'll try it.

    Thanks for the siggy, Lexi_Lover!

Yes, but I do not let him fire up the stove unless I am in the house.

Sunny seems to want to get a taste of all the food i eat ! He acts like he should test everything in the food line . I let him unless there is sugar or chocolate in the food I'm eating . Eggs are full of protein so i see no harm in cats eating them .Cats need lots of protein in their diets . I prefer he eats his cat food as his main diet so he gets everything he needs .

Just this past Sat. I made breakfast & of course Meko was begging so I offered her some scrambled eggs & she loved them!
Have not tried hard boiled yet but I think she will. I think almost any animal/human likes eggs!

Our local RSCPA Clinic suggest scrambled eggs as a light meal to give cats after they have been spayed or altered.

I haven't tried to feed my cats it though, I bet Bramble likes them....she is our dairy fiend.

I haven't tried (I am NOT a big fan of eggs, so they don't get cooked very often around here!)

Connor is like a vacuum cleaner - he eats anything, so I'm sure he would eat eggs. Ally is a fussy eater, so I doubt she would even try!

Thanks Kay for my great sig & avatar!!!
