    Carina needs your prayers tonight...

    Carina was fine yesterday. This morning she was very down, didn't want to come downstairs for breakfast or lunch or to go out. I called the vet and he gave me an appointment right away. After checking her, he wanted to take some Xrays so I left her in the office.
    When I called at 4 PM the news were not good. She has a mass in her spleen and stomach. The next step is to do an ultrasound, which the vet doesn't do himself. He hires a specialist who will come to the office, hopefully tomorrow or the day after. Not until after the results of the ultrasound are clear will he decide on surgery because he wants to know exactly what the extent of the mass is.
    All I can do right now is keep her very quiet till the next appointment.
    I don't know when I'll be back here with some news because I want to keep my phone line opened in case the vet calls.
    In the meantime, please pray for her. We know PT prayers work miracles.
    I'm trying very hard not to become totaly hysterical.

    I am so sad to hear this about Carina. It sounds very scary
