My husband's minivan is "The Geekmobile".

My big dumb truck is "The Beast"

An ugly white car we used to have was "The Marshmallow"

Yes, I have. Originally, the name was First National Bank of Cincinnati. NOW? It is MINE, MINE AND MINE OF CINCINNATI!

My truck is named Samantha, but I call her Sam for short. My last car was called the Grandmamobile because it was my grandmothers old car, it was a huge mercury Grand Marquis, and it you coverd up the rquis it spelled Grand Ma.

My husband came home with a white "thing" that had four wheels not so long ago. He said it was a car. I love my husband and so chose to believe him. He said that he had paid £50 for it and I laughed for many minutes. This "car" has not failed to start on any morning that it has been called upon, be it icy, rainy or sunny. My husband, bless, calls it the "Millenium Falcon". (A reference to a really shabby space ship that just keeps on going - Star Wars, I think?)

Wow!! Thanks everyone for replying! I’ve enjoyed all of your posts.

I forgot to mention Eddie. He is our Ford Explorer named after the beginning of his license plate number. Since his name hasn’t really caught on, I suggested to my husband that we should rename him Ready Eddie.

For Ally Cat’s Mommy – how about naming your orange Sante Fe Pumpkin?

I also had a boat named No Regrets. I called her Deep in Debt, No Regrets. Another boat we had was named Transition.
-I bet boat names could make a whole new thread!

Our first car was an '87 Honda Civic, and we called it the "CLH" which stood for "Cute Lil Honda"

My current car is a '98 Dodge Stratus and we named it the Dusty (tho' I totally don't remember why)

Awesome thread, by the way. I love reading all the replies!!
