Doe's anyone else have this problem

The toilet seat is always wet and now I know why! My husband always swore he raised the seat but I didn't believe him until now!!!

LOL! That's why I keep the lid down! My Mishi is a 'water cat' too and I'm positive I would get the same er, um, "results" as you, if the lid was left up. On second thought, I would probably get a very soggy Mishi as he is very clumsy and would probably be howling for meowmie to save him ... the big weenie!

LMAO!!! My cats don't do this but the ones I cat-sit do. Rusty is 20 lbs and to see his butt in the air like this one is hilarious.

    BTW: Welcome to Pet Talk!

Thats a normal site around here. Heads in the toilet, kitchen sink or fish tanks. 4 water bowls in this house and they still drink any where else but out of their bowls. Don't really like it....but I did have something happen years ago that make me put up with it now. Short story is....... pet stitter forgot to come over and if it wasn't for the toilet they would have not had water. So sense then we leave the lid up.....just in case.

We just learned to check the seat before we sit. Might be wet or taken by a fur ball.

Mine would probably do this too but I always keep the seat down. One time Sunny got into my roommates bathroom and was caught playing in the toilet bowl. He was dipping his paw in the water and swishing it around.

I definitely keep the lid down because one time when Tanner was a kitten he fell in. I don't think I have ever seen a cat move as fast as he did when he got out of the toilet

Boy do we, that's why we keep the toilet lids down!!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
