What a handsome boy! Your so lucky to have been saved from the pound! I have a pound puppy as well, and you both are the best types of the dogs, the ones with second chances! I think you know it too, and you show your new mom and dad just how much you love them for it every day by swinging that tail around. How could anyone ever have given up such a precious pet, they just dont know what they are missing!

It only took one look at that face to have the same reaction your mom did that day at the shelter. You are definitely *the one*!Buddy, your name suits you and your family appears to be a perfect fit for you as well. I know being in that shelter was very hard on you, but now I bet as you reflect back, finding your family was worth every minute.
Buddy, you strike me as the kind of guy who asks very little out of life, and hence your new title might not be all that important to you, but trust me, your being the Dog of the Day will allow people from all over the world to meet you and be completely captivated by your sweet, endearing demeanor, just as it has me.

Buddy sure is a popular name for dogs.Our Buddy already came with that name because someone else had owned him.

Buddy I am so glad that your lady human saw you in the back of that cage! It sounds like you had almost given up hope! But alas, the tail started to wag and hasn't stopped since! We are all so happy for you today Buddy and celebrate right along with you and your family. I'm so glad that the beagle your daddy human wanted was adopted. My happiness is twofold, because he/she found a forever home and that opened up the door to you finding yours! Congratulations to you Buddy, our very special, very handsome Dog of the Day!

Wow, Buddy, reading all about you...makes me decide that the Classic American Mutt must be one of the best dog breeds ever! Bless your human 'mother' for picking you out as a super dog, even while you were looking so sad.
Your handsome face should be put on a huge poster with the words..."Wonderful dogs like this can be found at Dog Shelters. Go fetch one!' You were born to be a Star!
