Tikeya, oscar, and two WHIPETS!! epps

Well I was walking Tikeya and Oscar with my lil brother just 10 min ago and we went to the abandond park to let Tikeya and oscar play off leash. So we let them off and these two really fast dogs came running out of the brush, they were SUPER fast lol. I thought they were rabbits at first so I grabed Tikeya, they came running up and started to run circles around oscar lol. The owner wasnt far behind we both switched comments about how cute eachothers dog are, lol. then we let them all play. It was great Tikeya got alot of exersize trying to keep up with the two whipets lol.

The male whipet kept trying to mount Tikeya So tikeya got mad and growled at it!! , then the male Whipet attaked Tikeya in the neck, So I grabbed Tikeya and hooked her up to the leash, and we were off.

I didnt want the other dog to get hurt If Tikeyadesided to fight back.

Who here has a whipet??? They are so cute!! like a mini grey hound!!

I've only seen grey hounds, & discovered their fur is very hard. it was smooth, but hard & I wasn't too keen on the feel. do whipets feel the same??
But I do love both looks of the dogs. Their legs muscles r so big & don't match the dog too well hehehe

lol I found that whippets fur is much smoother then greyhounds, and they are WAYY better proportioned(sp?)... one of the grey hound was a nice brindle coloring, his sister was pure white. . I wish I had a digital camera with me

If we wouldn't have gotten Daisy, we would have gotten a Whippet. My mom *LOVES* them, but I convinced her to get a golden.

SO, if we ever get another dog, it will probably be a Whippet..
