Thread: Louis' Surgery

    Louis' Surgery

We took our poor Louis to the vet's yesterday for minor surgery. He had a cyst removed and dental work done. When they did the tooth clean-up, they found that he had to have two teeth removed. This was quite the day for Louis as he absolutely hates to leave the house and cannot stand any change to his routine. But the good news is that he has recovered very quickly, and we were able to pick him up last night. He even had a snack before he left the vet's. Here's a photo (you can see the incision toward his back end - kind of gross).

Poor guy, that is quite an incision. Good news that he ate a snack that soon after the dental. I'm sure he'll be back to his normal self soon.

My Ripley had a dental back in Feb. (his first ever) and after a few days he began acting like a youngster - he's 11 years old.

I'm sorry to hear that Louis had to have so much done to him but I'm glad that he's recovering well. I'm sure he'll be back to normal in a few days.

Poor little Louis. Months ago, my Max had to have a couple of teeth pulled too! Don't worry Louis. Your Meowmie will take good care of you. Kisses to you little one.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Yay, Louis is feeling better. I just caught him stalking his 'sister', Ginger - one of his favorite activities in the whole world!

Aww. Poor baby! He doesn't look too happy in that pic. Gentle chin scruffles, kitty kisses and head bumpies coming your way for a speedy recovery. Poor little dude. >^..^< However if he's stalking his sister, that's a GOOD sign! Way to go Louis!
