Selling Violette's Babies

Well, I have good news. We just sold 5 (possibly 6) of the babies to a lady in Madison. She is taking all three blues, one black female, one PEW male, and might take the dumbo if the first interested person (who e-mailed me 5 min before this lady) doesn't take her. Now we just have to focus on finding good homes for the other 6.

I sent the lady a questionnaire I made on the computer, and she has to fill it out by hand, then send it to our P.O. Box. We are selling them to her on August 10th, if she seems to be the right person...I'm sure she will be. This lady already owns 11 rats and said she is starting a rescue.

I will update you more about selling the babies.

A dumbo! I knew there was at least one dumbo in there! Only one though, hrmm. I am so glad you are finding them homes. I think you should keep the dumbo one though.


I would be a little careful though if this lady says she is starting a rescue. Usually snake owners will collect rats to breed as feeders. You just have to be VERY careful. Does she have any pictures of her rats? Ask what type of bedding she uses, how her rats are caged, what food she feeds. Make sure she keeps males and females seperated. I would also make her sign a no breeding contract. Just some thing to think about.
