    A change in name

Well 'Little Boy Boba' showed his true stripes on Saturday. He got his collar stuck in his mouth and proceeded to flip out.

I caught him and was trying to help him, but he'd have none of it and proceeded to then slice and dice me.

I am literally covered from neck to toe in scratches. (As fast as he was swiping it's a small favor my face was spared. )

On Sunday I told Andy what he had done and both he and my friend agreed that he doesn't really look like a Boba and because of his actions on Saturday, I've been calling him my little wolverine.

My friend Cheri picked up on the X-Men groove and said I should call him Logan. Andy loved the name and now that I think of it, he does look like a Logan.

But I thought I'd leave it up to my Pet Talk buddies.

What should I call my little devil?

    I'm open to suggestions.

Sorry, but I just have to comment on this. Please double check that his collar isn't too lose, this is how I lost my Zasper. She got her jaw stuck in her collar when I wasn't home, and even though I had one of those safety break away collars it didn't help. So please be careful, I would hate to see someone else lose a cat the way I lost my Zasper. Ever since then I don't keep collars on my cats.

He's a handsome boy, dispite his "scratch-aholic" tendencies!
what about "ronnie" as in pirhanni (pirhana the fish lol!) or what about "tazzy" as in the tazmanian devil kitty?

Yep - I like that - Eddie for a good boy and Edward when he's being 'nawtee'!!

Or how about The Cat Factory's wonderful name - Chaos?

Oh not Logan - we all think of our own dear Logan and she's NO slasher cat!!!

I thought of your Zasper. He doesn't have a collar on at the moment. Zam never had a problem with hers.

well I like Jen's idea of Edward.. or how about slasher! slash? odd but accurate!

that happening to you reminded me of when I had to chase Emma all around the house, shortly after adopting her,, when she got the string toy wrapped around her back leg and stomach. only she didnt slash me she just kept running and hiding, meanwhile I am panicking over the fact that she may be getting the circulation cut on her leg! oh what these cats get themsleves into, with our help!

I should ask, are you ok now? that can not be pleasant at all getting cut that much! I have gotten scratched once or twice at a time, but to get cut that many times, can be pretty bad! wash with soap and then put peroxide, is what the vet told me.

I'm okay. About 20 cuts or so.... Only 8 were deep that they bled and needed bandaides. I showered after the incident and then put neosporin on the cuts.

Ed and Mike are out of the question for names. Bad Ex experiences.

But the thought behind them was ingenious.
