    Ack...

I just picked up Simon's food bowl, got to thinking, got to crying. I hate this.

Sorry, just had to tell someone.

I just put the rest of his food away. He needed special urinary tract food...

Sure is quiet without him meowing every time I walk by his food bowl... or where it was.

It all pretty much is just now hitting me. He's really gone.

    I Love Brian, Forever <3

It's called delayed reaction. I'm sorry you're feeling so bad. But that's normal. I know how difficult it is when you lose a pet. Certain things remind you of him. Time will ease your pain. Hang in there.

It is so hard losing a long time friend. If you can, I would consider giving the love that you are missing to a new friend. It can ease the pain if you are able to care for another kitty. It would not be a replacement but it would be a reason to go on living. And simon would want you to help a cat in need, of that you can be sure. In the mean time, keep in mind that grieving is normal, it does take time and it will get easier.
