I use advantage & I LOVE it. It can be used on all my pets, dogs, cats, ferrets & the occasional squirrells I get to nurse back to health. It is very safe & works wonders! Frontline is also good.

We tried Frontline before and it didn't work for Drake. The vet's reasoning is that Drake's skin wasn't oily enough. We have used Advantage on Drake for 3 years now and I haven't seen a single flea or tick on him! And we live in an area full of ticks and fleas. Plus we are out in the woods almost every day with the Draker.

Frontline or Advantage will work, just don't waste your money on the over the counter stuff. It won't work!

That's what I use on my cats and dogs too. I like it because we have ticks down here and it controls those too.
