    Cockapoos

    Hello
Does anyone have a cockapoo, or have pictures of one? This is a cocker spaniel, poodle cross and is becoming very popular. They do sound like a great dog. I have 2 dogs, Georgia, a maltese poodle cross, white with black, and Sadie, a shih tze Bichon cross, also white with black. Both are re-homed dogs.

and another i think that the size of the cockapoo depends on the size of the poodle, unless u bred 2 cockapoos; but even then it would depend on the size of the poodle used first.

    cockapoos

They are so wonderful looking, no wonder this mix is very popular. A site on google says they are breeding for AKC recognition now. There are 2nd and 3rd generation cockapoos.
    Thanks all for the photos

I was supposed to have a cockapoo but it turned out to be a lab/spaniel cross instead.

My Hannah is a cockapoo. Since she is a typical girl who doesn't want to devulge her weight, we'll just say she weighs 30 lbs + a bit more. I do believe she must have a standard poodle in her lineage.

These are my two previous cockapoos, now both at the Rainbow Bridge. Bailey on the left and Tizzie on the right. They were somewhat less hefty than Hannah, weighing around 26 lbs.

    Cockapoo

I just adopted a Cockapoo. She was given up by an older gentleman that purchased her from a pet store, and then realized that a puppy was more than he could handle. I got her at six months of age, and full of puppy antics. I fell in love with her looks first, and now have fallen in love with her personality. My Cavalier has really taken to her too. I have a hard time walking past her and not picking her up. They are very soft and cuddly, and with age, do settle down and have wonderful personalities. I got attached to her very quickly.
I have attached a photo that was taken when we first got her. Her name is Amber.
