Hide the kitty under the newspaper

One of Kona's favorite games is to play "hide and seek" under the newspaper. She'll crawl under and hold still as you call out "Where's Kona?" But if you walk past the paper tent, she'll reach out and grab your foot. Such a sneaky girl!

How cute! What a darling Kona is! My cat Marius does something similar, only he crawls under one of our circular end tables and peeks his nose out from under the cloth, thinking he is entirely invisible! LOL Cats are so silly sometimes!

How cute! I love the eyes in the first picture. Mine like to hide under an old blanket I keep thrown over my recliner. I've had to learn to look for the lump before I plop my rump or they get sat on.

Kona thanks you for the compliments! I love the picture of Marius, too! Kona also believes she is invisible when hiding behind something small, like a shoe.

Tubby used to do this a lot, although since I didn't read newspapers a lot when he was younger, he would use rugs instead.


Here he is under a braided rug my mom was in the process of making.


And similar to MOFF, I had to be careful of lumps in rugs before walking on them.

These pictures are SO cute

Ally lies on my lap under a blanket when we are watching TV, and if I lift up the blanket and say "Where's Ally" she springs up and "swipes" me on the nose like a little boxer! It's soooo cute - she only does it with me, not with anyone else!

Newspaper Cats

Nirrti only swipes at anything that dangles. When she does, she bites it and tries to eat it (including my hair). She'll also pounce on hair that's ground level to her.

My Mum's cat Whiskey used to do that as a kitten! She just loved newspaper. My kitten Pixel will hide under, behind, above anything just as long as she can AMBUSH her poor Meowmie or Daddy

We don't have newspaper around too much but when we do they are ON TOP OF IT... instead of playing under it...
