Spring!

Alot of ppl have been asking about Spring, the bird in my sig. Well heres the story, I was out one day in kelowna with Wolfsoul and I seen these lil budgies and they were so cute. The looked like they had never felt a humans touch befor, they looked wild. I wanted one, of course. ... So I got wolfsoul to help me pick one out. I picked the prittest one of them all, here are some pics of Spring. ....





I left her in her own cage for a few days and then transported her to Cheeko and Spankys cage on my finger, She never even flew away. ...

Spanky didnt like her, he pecked her and harrassed (sp"?) her. Cheeko LOVES her, the first night in his cage he sang to confert her all night, kept me up. lol it was soo cute. He way stretching his wings out for her and grooming her, and feeding her. I think Spanky was jelouse {sp?}..

Anywho, I put Spanky in his own cage because he was being very aggressive toward Spring. Spanky loves his new cage he hangs upside down and does lil flips like an acrobatic birdy . it is so funny to watch him in hie new cage, think he like being alone better.

So thats the story of the new birdy Spring, hope she will fit in here at pet talk.

Very cute birdie and very cute name! Congrats! I'm glad Cheeko liked Spring and sad Spanky was upset and sent to a new cage, away from his buddy Cheeko. I sure hope they'll get out of the cage playtime together. How is your progress going with Cheeko and Spanky? Can we see pics of all 3 of them together?

I love your sig it is so cute .. Spring has sprung in my house .. I named her that because she is all the colors of spring time .

Yellow, blue and green .. She is such a doll!!

I dont think you will be able to see Spring and Spanky together because Spanky hates Spring. But cheeko and spring and Cheeko and spanky will be all good !! .. their cage cleaning in in a couple of days I'll take the pics then. The dogs have to be out side when I do.

Thanks for explaining that. She's a pretty bird and seems to be fitting in well with Cheeko. Just be careful with Spanky. I know Sky is always picking on Rocket or trying to push him off the perch. I hate watching her bother him like that.

I hope Spanky learns to accept her soon.

I am not going to let Spanky be with Spring at all because he hurts her, at least it looks like it hurts. Spanky is in his own cage and he likes it better by him self anyways !!

What if you put the two cages beside eachother so they can talk between the 2 cages without hurting eachother

Yup they are beside one another. ..

Spankys cage is on my dresser, Cheeko and Springs cage is beside my dresser by the window on a huge bird stand with cage . its all good .
