I love wolves my bedroom has 24 wolves and huskies. One if my alaskan huskies looks like a wolf! He is my favorite!

I had a malamute with an 8th wolf in him. He had a HIGH prey drive and killed EVERYTHING.. including other dogs. We even raised him with other animals but nope that wolf drive was just to strong. He had to be put down for killing a cockerspaniel. . I miss him..


Wolves are my favoret animals. My VERY fav is grey wolfs.

I've been obsessed with wolves since I was born, I swear lol.

My favorite art subject is wolves (you would not believe all the wolf drawings/paintings I have) and I collect wolf stuff.......and I mean a LOT of wolf stuff.

It was really cute - like the bark of a tree was sculpted into the head of a wolf. It wasn't real wood though, all plastic, but looked real.

I always have loved wolves,
I use to just sit and watch them at the zoo and
of course I have my wolf t-shirts.
I think that is why I always loved the look of Akita's,
huskies and GSD.
I remember a man selling wolf hybrids at
a swap meet when I was a teenager, and I thought
one day I would own one.
(not anymore, after I saw a scientific documentary
T.V. special on wolves and wolf hybrids)
Wolves belong in the wild, and to many hybrids end up
euthianized or placed in sanctuary's when
their owners give them up because
they do not act like domestic dogs.

You guys are so lucky I don't even have a dog. I only have 2 parakeets named Ruby and Sasha. But when I get older I'm gone get alot of doggies. You peoples sound like most of you have huskie mixes'.-Layka

I just had to pop in here to say that I have the utmost respect and love for wolves. They are such misunderstood animals. If you all like wolves, take a look at the Wolf Park website. This is where I volunteered during my college days. I learned so much and had a lot of fun here. It was also amazing to be able to go into the enclosures with the wolves and have them lick my face! LOL I would really love to go back there someday.

I too used to think having a wolf hybrid would be wonderful, but after being exposed to wolves and hybrids at the park, I came to realize that my lifestyle (at least for now) wouldn't be suitable to care for one properly. There are many misconceptions when it comes to hybrids and people expect them to be like dogs, which is most often not the case. They need to be cared for and treated like wild animals because they are so unpredictable. I have tons of information and guides on wolf and hybrid care if anyone seriously thinks about going down that road. Definitely do the research first!!

Yes, I do like wolves. We have Timber Wolves up by our cottage. There are a couple that have radio collars on them, so the local DNR can track them. Neat-o!

They are becoming a big livestock problem, though, a lot of cattle and dairy farmers are loosing their cows to wolves. One farmer lost over $50,000 worth of cows. I still like them though!

They are very beautiful.
