Notes: Hi, my name is Alabama, and I'm yet another of the dogs who really got a lucky break in ending up safe and sound here at Southside. I was found with serious injuries after being hit by a car. The nice lady here saw the sweetness and intelligence in my soft brown eyes, and just HAD to try whatever possible to save me and give me a second chance. I have spent weeks in recovery at the vet, and now (other than needing to get some "meat" on my bones)I am ready to cash in on that last lucky break and become somebody's new best friend! My breed is intelligent and learns quickly, so anything I might have forgotten along the way (they'll never know how I ended up on my own) will be a cinch for me to pick up on again!
