    Thai ridgebacks

This is an interesting breed. I never knew that they even existed, and apparently they are rare.

I've never seen this breed either, but it is pretty neat looking. Does it have a ridge like a ridgeback does? I can't tell from the pics.

They do have ridges I think they look like an interesting cross of maybe rhodesian ridgeback and mastiff, with cropped ears. But they actually originated a long time ago, in South Thailand or Cambodia

Here are some pics where you can see the ridges better

    Wow, he is a beauty!

Here are some pics of Timber where you can see her ridge I need some better ones, these are kindof hard to make out

I think I have some more somewhere, but oh well lol Her ridge isn't alot like a ridgebacks since her fur is long, so it's long too and stands up straight! I think she's unique because every other ridgeback cross I see doesn't have the ridge.

Yep! That is def. a ridgeback. The only exp. I have with a Rhodesian Ridgeback is one that came into a boarding kennel that I worked at years ago. Actually, the owner of the kennels adopted the dog for the dogs onwer had passed away. It was a female owned by an elderly lady. Let me tell ya this dog did not like men! I mean would tear them up if had the chance. She was real good with woman. In fact, a great big baby! I was just glad she got a good home, because the pound surely would have put her down.
