    I'm very glad to see this new board!!!

    I'm certainly not offended by the name, and I do get the joke behind it ... but I think it is going to be confusing to new people. On several other pet boards that I post to "The Dog House" is the name of the board to talk about .... dogs. I think lots of people are going to be coming here wondering why we aren't talking about dogs in here.

    How about "The Soapbox" ... as in "Uh-oh, look, Twisterdog is getting up on her soapbox again!"

    They're not all "soapbox" type posts, that's why! I doubt new folks will be confused, as they will see "Today's Dog," "Dog Health," "Dog General," "Dog Rescue," etc. up at the top of the forums list, and this is at the bottom, and the first post in it is the explanation of what it is.

    I think Dog House and it's explanation on the thread are fine
    just the way it is, but maybe stuff like "poop cake" need to
    be in a Section called "Out House".

    I like this new forum, it will help keep the others cleaner.

    The other bbs I frequent did the same thing. They simply called their new forum

    I think this is a great idea! I just hope that people respect that this is a place for contraversial topics so don't be offended or handle it in an adult manner if you are offended by others opinions. We are all entitled to our own opinions and this is the area to post those opinions.
