A very sad cat poem

I made this up:


The Cat:

The cat has run away,
I thought it was only going to play,
As much as I want it to stay,
I know it will happier that way,
Thats why it ran away.

I know it will be happy,
Even if I'm not,
I try to think of a plot,
To get it back to the right spot,
I approach the door,
Ready to go looking,
For my lost cat.

After a half an hour,
I found it and begin to feel sour,
For the cat has just been hit by a car,
The driver didn't stop,
I ran over to it,
To check and see if it was alright,
Unfourtantley it was dead,
The cat was all she had,
She had no friends now,
Her only friend had just died.
