One day a chatty cat-lover took a litter of four
all black kittens to the vet for shots and check-ups.
She loved them all so much and couldn't keep from
talking on and on about their cute habits.
As the look-alike kitties played in the box, rolling
over and under each other, it was difficult for the
vet to tell the treated ones from the rest. So, he
went over to the water faucet, wet his finger and
moistened each little kitty's head as he finished a
treatment.
After the fourth kitten, the talkative lady became
very silent. As the vet sprinkled the last kitty's
head, the woman leaned forward and whispered, "Oh, I
never realized they had to be baptized, too."
