She had a bath this afternoon! She still smelled like vet, and her fur was getting all separate - if you know what I mean. She doesn't bathe herself - she never has, so she's always had baths. Now she is working hard at "drying off" now

I know what you mean, my kitties fur gets greasy looking sometimes and the strands of fur start to clump and separate. They always hate bathtime!

Oh Bassett , don't be at your mommy ! She means well ! She loves you to pieces and wants you to look at your best ! So , come on , give her a nice kissie and have a good rest (while mommy is making sure you do not catch a cold )

I think that the bath will make her feel better, it is just that she feels insulted that someone ELSE had to give it to her. (cat's think they are self sufficient)
