    Sweet Smiling Seraph!

Good morning, Seraph! Happy Dog of the Day, sweetheart!

Be still my heart! What a gorgeous, hunky and handsome, oh so fluffy, snow white Great Pyrenees boy you are, Seraph; a gentle giant, a gentle leader with a heart of gold! Just look at that million mega-watt smile, the twinkle in those big, brown eyes! *swoon* And looking quite fetching in your assorted neckwear, I must say!

It breaks my heart to think you started life off in a puppy mill, Seraph, a place of unspeakable neglect and abuse. Thankfully, you were one of the lucky ones, being freed, rescued from that horrible place before suffering any physical or emotional harm, minus the emotional baggage, finding your way to the most caring and loving of furever homes!

Seraph was saved from a backyard breeder/puppy mill when he was six weeks old. He was fortunate to be rescued at an early age, so does not have the emotional baggage with which many puppy mill rescues arrive.
And how well you've repaid the kindness and love shown you (by your humans and mentor Kuba the wolf!), taking up the role of gentle leader, patiently mentoring all of the fosters and rescues who come into your life, taking them by the paw and showing them the ropes!

What a good boy you are, indeed, Seraph; the bestest boy! It's no big surprise to hear how handily you win the hearts of all you meet, sweetheart! They just don't come any more special than you! How very blessed your family is, having a beautiful, smart, gentle and loving furry family member in you, Seraph! In body and heart you truly are perfection on 4 paws!

Great thanks to your family for nominating you, Seraph, sharing with us your heartwarming backstory and those heart-melting photos; giving us the pleasure of honoring one EXTRA special boy! I hope you're being treated to a very special Dog of the Day celebration, playing with big brother/sister Kuba; spending special time with your fosters and rescues; swinging by your local hangouts; being loved and pampered to pieces by your proud pack members and all of your adoring friends and fans! Lots of love, big hugs and slobbery smooches to you, beautiful, sweet Seraph, our very special and most deserving Dog of the Day, EVERY day!!! Love to gorgeous Kuba and all of your foster and rescue friends too!

    Beautiful, smiling Seraph!

Dearest Seraph, what a stunning beauty of a Great Pyrenees guy you are! Your thick white fur is so luxurious and looks so soft, and don't you ever have the sweetest face with those big smiles! Thanks for sharing those great photos with us! You're really stylin' in those ties, and how sweet you and your wolf tutor and pal Kuba are together!

What a story you have to tell. You were rescued from a backyard-breeder/puppy mill when you were just six weeks old, so young that you were not yet totally traumatized from that abuse. And then you came to your terrific new home and people, where you were safe and well-treated and cherished. Kuba trained you on how to be a good dog, and now you have many friends around town who welcome you when you visit. Your people rescue and foster dogs, and you are a sweet, gentle leader to the new ones. You show them around and lead them around out in the yard. My deepest gratitude to your dear people and you for all the dogs you've rescued and fostered and healed. You all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Seraph, on being chosen Dog of the Day! We hope you and your dear people and Kuba and rescued/fostered dogs and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
