Dearest Merle, what a marvelous lady you are, indeed! You are beautiful in that great photo, and thank you for sharing it with us. You look very contented and proud! That silver and black Tabby fur is so pretty and looks so soft, and you have the sweetest face with that cute pink nose and the white mustache and those lovely big green eyes. And I can see that heart on your chest, too! I wish I could reach through the screen and over the sea to Germany and pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved person will pet you for me .

You have quite a delightful personality, too! You're very curious, and you want to know everything your dear people do. You like to go outside and catch mice and birds. Your person doesn't like that, but since you're a cat, she/he accepts that that's what cats do. Your birthday is coming up soon, April 20! I bet you're already looking forward to that piece of fish you'll get for your birthday treat! You and all your family members love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

My pet's name is Merle. She is a cat with pretty silver and black fur stripes. Merle is almost ten years old. I like her green eyes and her lovely face. She is very curious and wants to know everything we do.

She likes to go outside and catches mice and birds. I don't like it, but she is a cat and I know I can't change that about her. On the 20th of April is her birthday, each year she gets a piece of fish for her birthday treat! We all love Merle.

I smiled when I read that you are very curious and interested in everything your people do! You are sitting on the table in your photo with your tail neatly wrapped around your legs- maybe you are watching as your person works on a project, or being your beautiful self and posing for a photo!
