Dearest Gabe, you are gorgeous indeed! You're one stunning fellow, with that luxurious ebony fur that looks so soft and that sweet face with the lovely big golden eyes. Thank you for sharing those fabulous photos with us. You're so handsome sitting up there on the mantel in the midst of all those family photos (including your own in the collection!). Then there's that adorable shot of you as a baby kitten, newly arrived in your Purrrfect Purrrmanent Home, having a big yawn or perhaps a shout-out of joy. I wish I could reach through the screen and down to Lexington, KY to pet you, and pet your dear littermate bro Theo, too! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you both for me .

And what a delightful story you have to tell! You came to live with your dear Purrrson when you were just eight weeks old. Then Theo joined the family two weeks later, to keep you company because you were so active and needed a playmate besides your Purrrson! Now you're ten years old, and you're still her/his baby boy, nursing her/his arm for comfort. You love hiding in small, dark places. Sometimes you can't be found, but you're always lured out if the deck door or a can of tuna or is opened. I'm sorry to learn you were so sick with pancreatitis last fall, complete with ED visits, ICU stays, and a feeding tube. I'm so very glad and grateful that you're completely recovered with just an occasional flare-up. Your curious, active, and loving Purrrsonality is back! You're a lap cat and a nap cat. You even help your Purrrson with her/his healing work, lying by the client beside the spot that needs healing. You're very special to your Purrrson, and you love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

What a gorgeous ebony boy you are, Gabe! The contrast of your sparkling, yellow eyes against your incredibly sleek and shiny black coat is stunning! So bright they are, you must keep them shut, hiding in those pitch black places as your Mommy hunts for you!)

And what a brave and courageous boy you are, Gabe, having battled a near fatal case of pancreatitis so valiantly, tolerating those scary days in the ICU, the many treatments required to save you! My boy Tigg'r also beat pancreatitis; such a scary illness and time for kitty and human!) Thankfully, like my boy, you did survive, recovering fully, now back to your curious, playful, happy and healthy self! And in return you repay the great care and unwavering devotion shown you, helping to heal your Mommy's clients with your mere presence alone! Wow!!!

The ultimate lap cat and nap cat, just as brave and beautiful as can be, to say you are a true survivor, one in a million, would be an understatement! How lucky your family is, having a fur baby as special as you in their lives! You truly are the best, one most deserving "top cat!"

I hope you're being treated to a very special Cat of the Day celebration, Gabe..playing with brother Theo; keeping your Mom guessing, hiding in those darkest of places, and once emerged, feasting on some yummy tuna...I see what you're doing there, lol; comforting your clients (and your Mom, hehe); being loved and pampered to pieces! What a beautiful blackie kitty you are! Your fur looks so soft and shiny, and soft to pet! I can imagine what comfort you bring to your person, and to a client who needs help and healing. I am very glad you recovered from pancreatitis, too!

You have a lot to do each day! When you are not with a client, you might be in a dark place for awhile. Your person knows you'll come out if the deck door is opened, or if canned tuna is being served! You are a nap cat and a lap cat! Sometimes you are with brother Theo, and always being a much-loved kitty! PURRRfect!
