KING GEORGE, VA (DC area) Animal Control Update - CATS - 1/24/2022

    -----------
From Pat, who posts these notices:

If you are interested in learning more about these cats and the King George Animal Rescue League, please PM me to let me know: I get frequent e-mail messages from KGARL with information on all the cats, including photos, and I'll be glad to forward the current one and/or earlier ones on to you.

    Thanks, and God bless!
    ----------------

If you can help, please contact Brandi Janezeck at [email protected] or 540-775-2120 right away.

As of January 24, 2022, there are 22 Cats/Kittens needing homes available at the King George Animal Control (KGAC). A PDF version of this update is available for ease of printing out.

The King George Animal Rescue League (KGARL) is able to help transport animals if you are a rescue group and have your paperwork on file at the KGAC (call 540-775-2120 for details).

Reasonable transport may be provided upon request, but very long distance transports (more than 70 miles) will be your responsibility. KGAC will waive pull fees for 501(c)(3) rescue organizations, and KGARL will help with vaccinations, and transports (up to ~70 miles).

Please pass these photos and this info onto rescue organizations that you may know who could save them. When doing so, please pass on all information required, including the rules for adopting/pulling from KGAC.

    PLEASE CIRCULATE!!!

If you can rescue any of these cats or need to know more about any of them, please contact Brandi Janezeck at [email protected] or 540-775-2120.

The KGAC facility is located at 11377 Citizens’ Way, King George, VA 22485. KGAC is open 10:00-4:30 Monday thru Friday; 10:00-1:00 Saturday; closed Holidays and Sundays.

    Thank you!

How are the kitties? Were you able to rescue them?
I also recently helped a wounded cat, and it's worth it when you see her get better.

    Dear Alexandra,

The post is about cats saved by a rescue group for cats, the King George Animal Rescue League, near Washington, DC. I don't live around there. I'm on the group's e-mail list, so I get their regular bulletins.

I post the bulletin information here on Pet Talk, just in case someone might see a post some time and decide they'd like to adopt one or more of the cats. I really hope the posts have on occasion helped some kitties of King George get loving Furrrever homes!

Thank you and bless you for helping that wounded cat, and blessings to the cat, too. It's all worth it indeed, isn't it, to see her get better!
