Hi Mookie! Happy Dog of the Day to you, sweetheart!

What a treat, waking up to find a beautiful Standard Poodle gracing our Dog of the Day page! I'm loving your "puppy cut," Mookie, those beautiful, soft curls on full display! No frilly, floofy poofs for you!

And true to your much loved breed you're revered for not only your beauty and grace, but your energy and athleticism, your love of water (amazing swimmers!), your intelligence (always ranked in the top 3 breeds when it comes to smarts) and most cherished trait of all, your big heart and devotion to your humans! And after reading your proud human's tribute, safe to say you're all that and so much more, Mookie!

Mookie was super energetic as a puppy, and can still run like the wind when he chooses to with those long legs, but he is all grown up now - and calmer. He is smart, and not only was quickly house-trained, but has learned every trick we have ever tried to teach him with very little repetition. He is a great dog.

How lucky your family is, having a furry (OK, hairy, hehe) family member as special as you, Mookie! Beautiful inside and out, you truly are a treasure, sweetheart, perfection on 4 paws!!!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, Mookie! Meeting you today, reading your Mom/Dad's love filled tribute has been such a treat! Poodles rule! Dearest Mookie, you are absolutely adorable! What a stunningly beautiful Standard Poodle you are, with that fluffy white hair (NOT fur!) in the "puppy cut" with the curls all over. You have the sweetest face with those cute fluffy ears and lovely big dark eyes. You have the most delightful personality, too! You were super-energetic as a puppy. At age seven now, you're calmer but still have bursts of energy and can run like the wind when you so choose. You're also a fetching machine, and you love to swim! You're very smart, and not only were you house-trained early, you've learned many tricks with very little repetition. You're a great dog, and you and your dear people all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
