Hi Koda! Happy Dog of the Day to you, sweetheart!

What an adorable, pawsitively precious Lab mix pup you are, Koda! And how heartwarming is your amazing rags to riches rescue story, your happy homecoming! I just couldn't stop smiling, reading your mom's accounting of how you and she came to be! I do believe you just might be the MOST wanted pup on the planet! Wow, talk about going the "extra mile," literally! And oh yes, no doubt it was destined to be that you and your family would be as one!

I have never in my life adopted an animal from a picture, but with everything that happened and went wrong, it's like Koda was meant to be in our home and family. It was fate. That is why Koda is so special to us.

To think all it took was just one look at that photo of you looking so sweet for the deal to be sealed..that and sharing that printed pic with that lovely woman at the SPCA!!! And as if things couldn't have worked any better, fur sibs Misty the pup and Bailey the kitty welcomed you home with open paws! Talk about a heavenly match!

I'm so, sorry sorry you (and your entire fur family) had such a sad, horrific start at life, sweetheart! But thankfully you all were saved before it was too late, and for you, nothing but happy, carefree, fun and loved filled days and years to come! How lucky your family is, having been blessed with a fur kid as brave and beautiful, as sweet and loving, as special as you, Koda! You're a treasure, one in a million, and so very deserving of your big day of honor!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Reading your mom's love filled tribute has been pure joy! I hope you enjoy a very special day of celebration...playing with Misty and Bailey; chowing down on some yummy treats; cuddling with your mom; being loved and pampered to pieces! Dearest Koda, you are adorable! What a precious young Australian Shepherd/Labrador mix pup you are, so cute in those great photos, and thank you for sharing them with us. And what an amazing story you have to tell! I'm also horrified to learn of your early start in life, and I'm so very glad and grateful that you and your family were rescued! And then your dear person-to-be found your picture on Petfinders and knew you were the one to join their family. It took a lot of work and arrangements to get you together, but now you are HOME, living the wonderful life you deserve (and always deserved) and playing with your doggie pal Misty and kitty pal Bailey! You and they and your people all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
