Dearest Oliver, you are utterly adorable! What a stunningly handsome Norwegian Forest Cat you are! That thick orange-brown-black-Tabby and white fur is gorgeous and looks so very soft and luxurious, perfect for those Ontario winters. And what a sweet face you have with those long white whiskers and eyebrows, that cute brick-red nose with the red mustache below it, and those lovely big pale-green eyes. You look so perfectly content in that great photo, and thanks for sharing it with us! I wish I could reach through the screen and over to ...wherever you are in Ontario, and pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you for me .
And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! You're very much a family cat, and you enjoy being around people, including company. You're confident, friendly, and quick to purr. I'm so sorry to learn of your frightening earlier ordeal in which you somehow wound up in a roadside ditch. I'm so very glad and grateful that you were rescued and brought to safety and HOME by your dear new Purrrmanent Purrrsons. In spite of that horrifying beginning, you are not skittish at all. You're a very special cat to them! You all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Oliver, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrsons and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
