Captivating Cosmo!
Dearest Cosmo, what a gorgeous fluffball you are! That orange tabby and white fur is so pretty and looks so soft, and it has such a nice design. My orange-tabby-and-white lady Sparkler says "Hello, Meow!" And what a sweet face you have, with that cute pink nose and those lovely big golden eyes. Thank you for sharing those great photos with us! You look so very comfortable in the first one, all laid-back and having a good rest. In the second, you're absolutely adorable, holding your toy up close to your face. I wish I could reach through the screen and up over to Manitoba to pet you, and pet your two senior kitty housemates, too! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you all for me .
Your dear Purrrson-to-be and you met when you were being fostered by his/her sister for the sister's rescue organization. It was love at first sight! You are your family's second dear orange kitty, their first having gone to the Rainbow Bridge some ten years ago.
And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! You're almost two years old now, so you have lots of youthful energy, which your two dear senior kitty housemates don't like so well. (I trust you will all be good friends before long.) You're very affectionate with humans, even those who are trying to ignore you. Your new favorite game is to chase any human who tries to run away from you. Your Purrrsons have decided you are a new breed of creature, a Puppy-kitty! You and your Purrrsons and kitties all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Cosmo, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear kitty housemates and Purrrsons and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats. I know your family's dear orange kitty Angel is rejoicing with you at the Bridge!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
